Wow, what a game/weekend.  The Ole Miss Rebels squeaked by the Tigers of LSU in a game that had Ole Miss fans captivated until literally, the very last seconds.  We were very fortunate that Les Miles and his coaching staff executed very poor clock management within the last minutes of the game.

The refs definitely tried to take us out of the game in the first half.  The Rebels had 14 points stripped from the scoreboard early in what I believe were bogus calls to say the least.  The first seven points that the Rebels should have accrued came on a pick six that was called back on a very ticky tacky block in the back call.  The second touchdown that got called back due to Shay Hodge being the first man to touch the ball after he stepped out of bounds.  He was clearly forced out by the LSU defender.

All in all, it was one of the best games I’ve ever been to.  For me, this game ranks up there with the Auburn game in 03′.

Up next in Mississippi State and then hopefully a great bowl bid.
