With a combined 20 hrs. of driving under my belt this past weekend, I’d have to say I’m a little tired, but it was totally worth it. New Years Eve in Jackson, MS was a lot more fun than I expected (expectations were not high), but I don’t recommend “staying up til the sun comes up” when you have to drive 6 hrs. the next day. I kinda’ wish I could have stayed in Nashville for the night’s festivities with all the folks that came into town, but you can’t be in two places at once, there is always next years, right?
Game day started off at 9a.m. with about 12 Crown and Sprites, 4 beers and a champagne toast, but who’s counting. Walking staggering to Cowboy’s Stadium was a chore to say the least, good thing Jerry Jones made the f*ing stadium so big it’s visible from space and the bar we were at, or else we would have been lost. Jerry really out did himself. Thanks, Jerry!!! There were a few logistical issues I’d like to talk to Jerry about. I could have done without going all the way up to the 4th floor just to go around and come back down the the 1st floor back to our seats. Note to self, don’t got visit people in the nose bleeds, make them come to you.
The actual game turned out to be the, “Which Team’s Quarterback Sucks The Most Bowl”. Turns out OSU’s QB, Zac Robinson, sucks more than Jevan, so that was awesome. The difference was Dex and our defense, who showed up and played one hell of a game.
Here a a few pics from the trip. Hotty Toddy!!!!
